Colour and Shapes
Kee and Jackson's work was more aligned to a fine-art aesthetic, following their own passions and interests rather than the commercial imperatives of fashion trends.
Experimentations with colour and shapes were a key aspect of their creative process. They drew influence from disparate sources ranging from the work of early 20th-century artists and the Ballets Russes (Russian ballet) to colour theory, music, calligraphy, numerology and customary dress.
