Opals
Inspired by their mutual fascination with the Australian opal's shimmering rainbow of colours, and determined to elevate them from the status of kitsch souvenir, Kee and Jackson created a body of work capturing the national gemstone's diversity and beauty.
Their Flamingo Follies parade in 1981 was a spectacular homage to the opal, and was Kee and Jackson's last collection show together.
