In 1988, Fran and I went to Antarctica on the Society Explorer cruise ship. We were on assignment for Vogue Living, and tucked in among my thermals was Linda's [Antarctic Glacier] gown and [Penguin] jacket. It wasn't the easiest of shoots ... It was a thrill to finally see [the photos]. As lifelong friends, we can count on each other to always go the distance for wearable art.
