Kee's knit designs were made by skilled handknitters like Jan Ayres, who followed a complex process.

First of all I sketch the outline onto graph paper, roughly working from Jenny's picture, and then graph it out. I have about 40 people knitting for me who then take it home, knit it up and bring back the finished garment ready to be sent to the shop.
