Flamingo Park
Inspired by her experience of the countercultural creativity of 'Swinging London', Jenny Kee returned to Australia in 1972. A year later, she opened her vintage-infused Flamingo Park frock salon in Sydney's Strand Arcade. Soon after she was introduced to Linda Jackson, who had just returned from travelling through Asia and Europe. Both felt an immediate connection and Kee began stocking Jackson's original designs in the shop.
Together, with a group of creative collaborators, they showcased their designs in annual Flamingo Follies fashion parades.
